My Muscovy drake has a wardrobe malfunction

Can anyone give me a clue as to what's going on with my drake's wing?
He's been through a molt, but nothing has changed with this feather malfunction.
Any hints, or advice would be appreciated.

He looks like he's still growing in his feathers. I've seen that during the molts. So far it always resolves by the end of the molt.

I know all about chicken molts, but how the heck long does a Muscovy (since it's only a pretend duck) take to complete a molt? This has been going on for about 3 months.

Could he be a pretend turkey instead? I've seen some odd looking turkey wings on the wild turkeys around here lately.

A few months to molt isn't unusual. Feeding a higher protein feed can help speed it up.

I've got a Muscovy with an identical problem on one wing! I can tuck her feathers back so they sit properly but as soon as she stretches they stick out like this again. I was hoping a molt would sort it as it seems to be a twist in the feather or something where it grows from the skin (not sure what that part is called!)

Do your ducks have a pool or a way to clean themselves up and preen?

What’s an angel wing? Sorry, I’m very new to ducks! I don’t have a photo of mine, and it’s nighttime where I am. Also my duck has gone back to her nest so I don’t want to disturb her. It’s uncannily similar to the OP’s duck wing.
