Long story short, a neighbor's dog brought my mother two random chicken eggs! We assumed they were from our distant neighbors, since they have a bit of chickens and some escape. Out of curiousity I candled them.. and what I see inside are moving living chicks!
I had no idea on what to do, so I kept them warm and with humidity until I could bring them to the local school which has incubators. After a while.. they hatched! They were both yellow, but to my fright the older one died after not being able to use it's legs..
I didn't let that get me down and I took the smaller one home and kept it safe, dubbing it Hazel.
My task now is that I want to find the gender and breed of this chicken?
It turned 6 weeks old on June 8th, and this picture may have been... the 10-11th or so?
I can't think of much things to say, and I'll be willing to answer questions and post more pictures if needed!
Thank you! <3
