Hey everyone!

A while ago, I bought some Silver Laced Wyandotte chicks and this beautiful baby came with them.

When I unloaded them at home, I immediately realised she wasn’t a Wyandotte and since then, I’ve had many, many suggestions on what breed she is.

Now she’s around 6-7 weeks old, I am hoping someone on here might be able to give me some more insight???

(also the lady I got them from said she had no idea, she was selling Wyandottes and Aracauna but got the eggs from another person so I didn’t get any help there)

Either way, her name is Mystery and she’s living with me now so I’d like to just learn more about whatever breed she is.

Thank you so much!

She's a pretty girl. An Easter Egger can be anything. They're mixed breeds, basically "mutts." She does seem to have the pea comb and slate legs we typically expect to see in an EE, but the feathering is unusual to me.

She has a rose comb, so I do not think she is an Easter egger. But she could be a SL Wyandotte mix, a silver Sebright mix, or a silver penciled or spangled Hamburg mix. Definitely not a pure breed but very
Good catch JedJackson.

This is a fayoumi and I think you might have a fayoumi mix
She really does but after a bit of digging - I’m pretty confident she is a spangled Hamburg possibly crossed with a SL Wyandotte. The lady who was selling these babies had an old post I found where she was actually selling hamburgs, Aracauna and Wyandottes before I saw the updated post.
So this is my best guess…however she looks strikingly similar to that gorgeous fayoumi!

She is a gorgeous bird! It looks the most like silver penciled Wyandotte to me. Can you post a recent picture?
