My mystery hen

    This girl was in a batch the lady said were japanese bantam mixed. There is another just like this girl, but this girl has feathers on her legs the other does not. In the same batch, which supposedly all came from the same mother, there is also some splash, and some reddish/rusty colored birds. Mom was a very round little thng they called the Meatball.
    I'm thinking maybe BR/cochin cross? They are bantams, but not super tiny. About 16 weeks now, I think.

    These are two of the other hens. There are two like this, and two that the color is reversed - dark head, lighter body

    I think the pictures are too small for people to really tell. I know I can't see any of them well enough to guess. [​IMG]

    Hmm...on my screen the pics are only about 3" tall by 2" wide. Maybe try uploading them to Photobucket and then post the IMG code here? That's usually how I post pictures on here. [​IMG]
