A while ago I posted a thread asking about my Ameraucana/Polish Crest/??? mix chicken https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=531346 He is the first one pictured in the thread.
Boy has he changed since those pictures!! He has a huge hodge-podge of feathers on his body. I'm really curious to see what he looks like when he is fully grown.
We have named him Guy, after Guy Fiere, b/c of his awesome highlights. LOL
His tail has some strange feathers that I haven't seen before, they are "pinched" and transparent in the middle. I'm not sure what's up with that. lol
He is my bird with the double back toes. You can see it really well in this picture.
The feathers on his back are really neat
I think he is a cool looking bird, and we are doing our best to raise him correctly so he turns into a good rooster (we just had to butcher all of our oldest cockerels b/c we had no idea and raised them the same as our pullets and they all became very aggressive). He is doing a good job so far!!
