(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens for 10 years now. I am in my third batch. My first batch I had to give away when we moved from Wyoming to Texas. My 2nd batch in Texas was attacked and killed, my third batch is part of 9 chickens I got that 5 were roosters and 4 hens and the roosters got eaten once again. So now we have the 4 hens plus 5 new Turkens!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
4 hens and 5 chicks
(3) What breeds do you have? Turkens and grey ones I’m not sure what breed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? When they are friendly and like me to hold them and talk to them. And finding eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Playing bingo! Cooking!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have my German Shepherd and my husband has a lab.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC through google search over the years when researching problems or sick chickens.
