I agree with putting up the signs and then march your butt out there every time someone is ON the property with the signs up. Take your camera and snap shots! Let them SEE you doing it too! If they ask why you are taking pics, tell them because your line is being ruined and you want the city to know who they can charge for it. As far as the kids...you have every right to sue their parents for not monitoring them while on your property. Period. I would NEVER let my kids do that..I don't even let my kids walk through the neighbors yards, although we have no sidewalks here!

So post signs, snap pics and if it has to go to small claims, I say go for it! And don't forget to charge them for the signs when you get there!

I agree with all the above comments! What kind of world are we coming to when people have no respect for other people or their property?!??

I really love the barbed wire or stakes or nails (something to damage their tires!) I would probably be the mean one that would hang a bucket of paint in a tree and figure out a way to rig it to pour on them when they got out of the truck or in the case of the kids when they road in your ditch!!

Love neighbors

I would look into exactly where your property extends, and put as much of a permanent, pretty blockade/barrier there as possible - something that will improve the look of your own property - I'm sure it's something you've been meaning to do? Something that will make it very difficult to ride on or over, hopefully. Rough rocks, cinder blocks, bushes, cactus, anything with definition!

Also, I can pretty much tell they already know they've gotten under your skin - so smile and wave - just smile and wave -

Hope things work out - seems like these guys mostly just have no respect, for your property or your wishes. Dont give them what they are looking for, which is a negative response from you, thats where they'll get their satisfaction! Your chickens need you to be giving off Happy vibes! Take care

I totally feel your pain. We deal all the time with people who do not live in our neighboorhood tearing up our dirt roads with their four wheelers and go-carts. Lucky for us, talking directly to the parents or the adults has worked for us in 98% of the cases. We have called the cops twice when they would not stop.

Be very, very careful about putting barbed wire or some other dangerous items out. If the kids were to hurt themselves you could open yourself up to a liable suit.

As far as the workers go, I would inform them the next time they are on your property, you will call a tow truck. And if they don't move, call one. I don't see why they would park on your property just because they don't have a ramp. What's wrong with parking on the employers property? you have every right to keep your property the way you want. they are tresspassing plain and simple.

Nope, not overeacting. I think I might find a source for old used tires and start building a berm, or start growing blackberry bushes there.

Is this new money from the North? Have you talked to the owners/parents?

think it but don't do it on the spikes/barbed wire, YOU are liable even if they are trespassing.

On the "professional" mowers, call a tow truck on them, you'll only do it once.

If you want a war and act like a 2 year old, buy a 2 wheeler and make tracks in their yard, dump trash on their lawn, etc

property is private. call the police they are trespassing, and vandalizing on your property. there is no reason for them to be there. not having a ramp is their problem if they want to have a business they have to get the equipment. Again not your problem. as for the neighbors, let them know it's yours and you intend to defend it. I prefer the sign "Trespassers will be violated"

Good luck.

No need to start a war. How about your just talk to the neighbors? They hired the lawn guys - he can tell them to stop or he'll hire someone else. If you approach them calmly, introduce yourself, and expain the situation you may get better and quicker results.
