Thanks, Roosters. I appreciate the knowledge. And I’m sorry about the Merck’s. Thanks again for joining in here.

Hmmm. Think about it. There are three of those. We’d meet you halfway. Or I could drop him off on my way to see my mom in Va weekend after Thanksgiving. I’m sure he’d be happy in your guest room for a few months. Just think about it.
I would say #4 is some sort of dark brahma mix, this is my brahma x cochin (well when he was younger he looks older than this now) the thing is yours doesn't have any feathered feet. He‘s working hard to make the best of a difficult situation, rebuilding the coop and trying to understand what all he has...
I‘m afraid there are way more Roos than he needs and they’re all magnificent. In some cases the sex is obvious, but others are not so (to me). We’re hoping for some learned opinions regarding breed and sex. In addition to what’s shown here there are a couple of Barred Rocks, Mr and Mrs Wilson, the Mister being the Main Man. There’s a total of 11 birds.
1. This guy is second in command. What breed?View attachment 2372351
2. These were sold as RIR but I don’t think so. Breed?

Thank you! He's very sweet too, amazing to the ladies.wow. That the Cochin brings something very debonair to the mix! Beautiful!
Sounds like chicken math to me! Good luck with your new pullet palace. Keep us in mind.I can't think how to make it happen when I'm having to sell pullets because I'm overcrowded (long story short -- no permanent coop until the house is ready. House that should have been delivered in early August was delivered yesterday.)
Otherwise, ...
I think that might have been part of the problem...In the meantime watch your birdies, they are quite beautiful, --and you'll attract another hen and you'll love her so.

Edit- but hey, if your new building was delivered yesterday, shouldn’t you have that thing ready before Thanksgiving? Or were you talking about a people house?
