MY NEIGHBORS CAT!!!!!

I hearya on that...just because they're cats, doesn't mean that they should roam free...I was feeding a kitten for the longest time BC (before chickens) I knew he was someone's pet, but he was as smart as swampgas...we called him Stupid. A couple of weeks went by and a guy pulls up to the hedges and yells Buddy...very cat runs over and jumps in the car...He was too stupid to find his way back to the next street over...At least he's a nice cat and the only thing he's hunted has been bumblebees. He certainly would've starved, or worse, if I hadn't been taking care of him.

Sounds to me like Tonto's gonna have a new chew toy pretty soon and it's gonna be really lifelike...jes sayin

My old neighbors had a lot of cats. They would get into our garbage, dig up our garden, etc. They also weren't vaccinated against rabies. When we talked to the neighbors about the problem they suggested if we didn't like their cats we could shoot them.

Too bad those cats aren't related to mine, she is spayed and loves watching the chickens run past her while I chase them to get them back in the pen, I tell her as we whiz by, with those Buff Orp and Gold Lace Wyan pullets lifting their skirts to stretch their long legs and run (so fun): "You're NO HELP!" She's a kind hearted and easy going cat...Socks-r-relli:

LOL That pic of the cat reminds me of the time Nana dried one of ours! When I was a kid, we had a cat that always slept in the hamper. Well, one time that dang cat crawled in the dryer and Nana didnt know he was there so she turned on the dryer and we kept hearin somethin thump around, so she opened the door and he kinda fell out shakin his head and staggerin around. Well, he was fine in a couple of minutes, but he never slept in the dryer again!

I'd let the dog have his way with the cat. It will build his confidence and eliminate the problem at the same time. Then I would quietly bury it and wait for the next adventurous feline from that side of the fence!

My neighbor is now refusing to claim her cats. When I asked her about them roaming on everyone's property, she said, oh those aren't my cats, those are strays.

I recognize their markings so she is lieing. I guess she is not willing to keep them in the house anymore. People should not get animals they don't want to care for properly.

Yay Tonto! Your neighbor is correct...her cat can go wherever it wants to and if it has a death wish or she has one for the cat.

Some people...been there and done that over a stupid dog.
