My neighbors duck was attacked

Hey there about 2-4 months ago my duck was attacked by a neighbors dog i caught it in the act so i was able to save my duck but after the attack she had a broken leg and a 2cm deep wound on her stomach the first night she got maggots but we powered through useing hydrogen proxide to get rid of the maggots as well as picking them out of her wound after wards i used manuka honey healing gel for about 1 week and she had fully healed. We had her in the bathroom i think it helped her having a mirror because she was never alone.
