My first concern would be this 5 yr old girl, So much harm could happen to this girl. Her parents need reported before harm comes to her.

A couple big geese can do wonders towards deterring trespassers! We have 1 male, 1 female African white-fronted geese and believe you me - we know when someone approaches! The boy goose has no problem with biting MY dogs if the don't get out of his way. For that matter, he fancies biting ME when I feed them! If my dh didn't love that boy goose, well, you know!

Whats going on here, getting anything that will attack this little 5 yr old girl. is WRONG !!!!!!
Rooster, goose, dogs, electric shock. This girl must like the chicken and wants to play, know she wrong for turning it loose, no reason to make her fear chicken by getting a attack rooster.


I like the idea of her help feeding them.

Reading this post reminds me of something that my Dad did when I was a kid to teach our dog not to kill the neighbors chickens. My Dad got one of the dead chickens and tied it around our dog's neck for a few days and made him stay in our backyard (Normally, mom did not want the dog in the backyard since he dug up her flower beds). After that if our dog even caught site of a chicken he would turn tail and run as fast as he could. Now that I'm older not sure if that was the right thing to do but it did work and taught our dog not to kill chickens, and it was my Dad's way of taking responsilbity.
