My nephew the chicken lover

I have three nephews, but one in particular loves chickens. He is always under my heels asking me all types of chicken questions. Thought I would share a cute story with you guys. On Thanksgiving we hatched off 7 seramas, one turned out to be this lovely shade of grey blue, but he is also the biggest. We decided to name him Turkey Lurkey, to be festive. My four year old nephew came running out to the coop yesterday and he says, "Katie, Katie, don't forget to feed Turkey Leg and his sisters" I thought this was so cute, so instead of Turkey Lurkey, we now have a Turkey Leg!

Oh he is such a cutie. I have a 16 year old foster boy that is like that with my ducks and chickens. He is always out there chasing them down to hold them and pet them and talk to them. They have gotten use to him doing it so they just stand there and take it. It comes in handy when I need to catch anyone.
