Got more eggs yet? I just now received my showgirls in the mail. Come on, you have to do this with me again.

Yellowdragon is givin me more eggs whenever I want. Dangerous! I need more polish. I have to have a whole pen dedicated to breeding my new breed..."Pokie"s. If they get some sizzles and some frizzle polish goin on and maybe some showgirl action too...If my husband caught me with more eggs he'd die. Maybe I can get some next week after he starts his new job so he won't notice for a few days til its too late. Haha. Got more boards for the coop today and moved the fresh babies to my bedroom and the americaunas( plus the NH red and the maybe delaware or orp) to the garage. The 12 in the garage will graduate to the coop tomorrow if it stops raining enough to build the door.

But seriously, I am setting these six as Day #1, and then the quail should be here tomorrow- so they will be a Day behind them....the wait is sooooooooo long when you are doing it alone. You should set some more, you will have THREE LONG WEEKS to get everything together...I want sizzle-frizzles...but my husband kindly reminded me that I live where chickens are illegal. That said, I have to pick what I am keeping out of all my hatches and send the rest to my brother-in-laws....no matter how pretty, how sweet, how lovable..

makes me need to move. Thats what it does. I wish I could get my ^%^% neighbor to want some chickens. Then they couldn't turn me in. Maybe I can get them to fall in love with a Silkie.

I'l send you some sizzles or frizzled silkies or whatever when these get old enough to lay eggs. Then your husband can't say anything because it was a gift. Haha. Maybe I'll sneak and get those frizzle polish eggs...you aren't helping! I'm trying to be strong and wait a bit. LOL

Not after we kept each other up and company through the last humidity/temp crisis...your husband cant get too upset if you are doing something as a favor can he???? After all, I believe someone here said its easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.....
