My new babies...What colors do you think they are..

Well here are the two coturnix that have hatched so far. I still have 5 eggs in the bator on day 19.


This was the first to hatch 2 day ago.

This on hatched a day later.

Meal time.

They are adorable. The colors change so much as they grow too.

You have a Red Tuxedo and a Tibettan double factor which makes him really black compared to regulars. I call them British Dark Range birds.
Where did you get your eggs?

I got the eggs in the January egg swap. They came from Tara (spookyevilone). She sent me 17 eggs but the PO wasn't very nice to them. Four were broken and so far only 2 have hatched.

Red tux and the other is a Tuxedo x Tibetan, so will be a dark tuxedo with eyebrows, maybe a little bib, and possibly white primaries

Hopefully the others will hatch soon

If not, let me know and I'll send you more eggs.
