My New Babies

With Wyandottes, I have been told by several local breeder's that feather sexing is to unreliable to consider it a definite option. Though I do it with mine and it's been pretty good.
I have some Silver laced and Lavender split in my brooder now. They are almost 3 weeks old. The roosters combs are obviously redder than the others and I should be able to definitely tell in another week.

For some reason I can't attach pics right now. Most of what you have looks girly to me.

Lets try. What kind of pictures do u need?
I bought these chicks at delivery to TS on May 6th. They said they were hatched May 5th and shipped without food or water yet. These are feather pictures taken on May 12th. This will be Fun. At least a good guess.

Best results are done on day old chick's. On my last hatch of 8 chick's I believe I feather sexed them 100% accurate. I'm not going to claim that for a while. I have approximately 27 to try it on this Friday. We'll see.
Ok. Good Luck!!! That's exciting.
I did the leg hanging test and they tested female. I had lil roos that curled up. These two just hung their little legs straight down. A girl at TS held them upside down and they just hung straight down and the roos kept trying to curled back up. Idk. But their lil tail feathers are starting to grow little tuffs too.
Im betting on lil girls. Time shall tell...right?
