Today I went to the feed store to buy some ducks, and they only had one crested

So i ended up buying 10. 2 died shortly after I got them home

So here are the beauties!

Yes the blk/wht ones are magpies. The white one with the crest is a crested pekin. We are so excited to have new babies. I've stopped hatching for a long time now! As for ducks and the desert, they seem to do fine. Never saw any of my ducks/geese with cuts or anything from the hard rock dirt crud around here. They eat all the grass that pops up, which is few and far between. It's my hope one day to grow a ton of grass near their pond so they can enjoy it even more!!! The heat doesnt bother them, and I've never lost one due to the environment. Just the stupid PREDATORS!!!
