So cute!! I just got 2 silky chicks about 5 weeks old, and I took them to the pet store. People were very surprised by them. Most didn't even know that they were chickens! I forgot who told me to get one and bring it along to our city commissioners meeting, said "they wouldn't be able to keep a straight face"! How true!

Now to work their magic on the commissioners and mayor, huh?

Silkies do have an impact. Every time I show my silkies to people they can't believe it's really an egg laying bird.
