My new babys what kind are they?????

Hi there I just got my first goats last night at the sale and I am not sure what kind they are any one know what they are besides cute goats!!!!!!!!
the white and cream is a girl have not named her yet what would be a good name!!!!!!!
The brown one was a billy but is banded they where born in Feb.
Just not sure what bred they are?????

boer cross, mainly boer with a touch of dairy (1/4, maybe less), as indicated by the fineness of bone, aeroplane ears and difference in horn growth between the male and female. As for which dairy breed, a prick eared breed. If they grow to be standard sized, either saanen or alpine. If they are miniature sized, most likely nigerian dwarf. But at this stage and going on photos alone I would be placing my bet on 25% or less alpine.

I would say a Boer/Alpine cross and they sure are nice babies you got there.Worm them and get their shots and they should be fine.

I agree with the Boer/Alpine mix. Lots of Boer in those babies though. And since you got them at the sale barn the first thing you need to do is give them an antibiotic injection, a CD and T injection and worm them with Cydectin. Oh and never forget... we are a very opinionated group!

especially when it comes to worming, testes and horns. You just gotta love goats though!

I know notta about Boer except what they look like so I am agreeing with the Boer/Alpine. They are so cute.

Definitely Boer crosses. I am not sure I agree with the Alpine cross Boer though. The dorsal stripe isn't strong enough for Alpine. I breed Alpines, and even in a cross the stripe is very prominent.
Are they brother/sister? If not, perhaps it is oberhasli cross on one and sanaan cross on the other. They might just share a common father, but come from different Nannies.

Very cute! They look just like the two I got 4 years ago but mine were sisters. Wish I had a picture I could post. Mine are Amber and Brownie. Not terribly imaginative but who cares! Have fun with them!
