My new batch of chicks. Marans, quail, ducklings,etc. What gender? And how will these look?

Ok, for the hatch-a-long I hatched 10 Copper marans, 4 Courtinix quail, 1 mallard duckling, 1 polish x Barred rock and a polish x Brown leghorn.

1.Q. How come my polish x brown leghorn has huge muffs?

2.Q. What will my polish x brown leghorn look like?

3.Q. What will my polish x Plymouth Barred Rock look like?

4.Q. How do you tell a male from female in day old maran chicks?

5.Q. Is it possible to sex a duckling? ( 2-3 days old )

6.Q. Can you tell a male from female in baby quail? ( 2-3 days old )

2.Q. What will my polish x brown leghorn look like? no clue
3.Q. What will my polish x Plymouth Barred Rock no clue
4.Q. How do you tell a male from female in day old maran chicks? might be able to by head spot but not 100% accurate along with color of legs maybe
5.Q. Is it possible to sex a duckling? ( 2-3 days old ) they can be vent sexed but other than that it is a waiting game
6.Q. Can you tell a male from female in baby quail? ( 2-3 days old ) not that i know of
