Her mother, who I think is half african half toulouse has dark colors but Pipper came out even darker... but not quite as dark as yours. My gosling looks a lot like yours. I am not 100% sure who the father is because she used to mate with a toulouse and then another gander who is embden/pilgrim challenged him and now I only see her mating with the new guy...

My gosling's name is Pipper and I think it is female. I let her swim around in the koi pond today to exercise her little legs. She loved it, swam back and forth a few times then came to me and wanted out.

Aww! He's adorable!

I watched Monster's Inc. with my little cousins today, and for some reason, he reminds me of Boo, the little girl.

Not that he resembles her or anything - he just made me think of her.

Protection is most likely not the most dominant thought that will be on his mind-think birds and the bees.

Aren't they the love of your life? Mine are! My only suggestion is to get 2 b/c they need a playmate, and they will both imprint, mine have. It's just that other people have told me to get at least 2 also and when I see them together, without me, they are huddled up lovin on each other... beautiful! jennifer

Nope if you get two they will not imprint on you. They will bond to you and imprint on their siblings. they will still be a good pet they just won't be imprinted.​
