we bought a few acres when husband retired and my dream was always to own a few peacocks..
here is the second addition to our little family.. a white 13 month old male..

Peas like to belong to a bevy. I would keep a pair at the minimum. I have 2 males and 3 females that stay together all the time.
 
Hello @Stone Hill! Congratulations on your new pea!

Not sure what your predator situation is there, but I just wanted to mention that chain link and chicken wire are definitely not predator proof. Others here will be able to give you advice about how best to keep unwanted critters away from your peas.

This guy, for example, had no trouble getting through the chain link...luckily he wasn't interested in a full-grown peaboy!
