Wow....it would be cheaper here to buy the wood.........i know people here sell pallets but usually only $4-5 each.

yeh i will probably just end up using 2x4 for supports then feather edge boarding it! Its cheaper but not by much it will cost me £35 just to build one of them!

You would be surprised what you can pick up at a constuction site. I got lots of 2x4s and osb from one near my house. We got 4 pickup truck loads of lumber

Nice! Working with pallets isn't an easy task.

There is a tool for pulling pallets apart. If you do a search for "pallet buster" you will get plenty of images and places to buy them. the "deluxe" version is listed for around $70 and the "standard" versions is around $50. I have never used one, so I can't say how good/easy to use they are.

Yeah I built my coop from pallets. Didn't have a pallet buster. Looks like it would work though
