My New Chicken & her soft shelled egg....

i just got her this morning & she was out walking around, she looked like a dog draging its rump across the carpet . i thought she had worms or something & was thinking crap something wrong just my luck . well she did it again & out came an egg!!!!!!
only thing is it was a soft shelled egg. could it be soft from the move & just stress ? she is an American game bantam last springs hatch.
she is my first that is of egg laying age, what all should i be feeding her i have the chick feed from tsc still ( 16%) i believe. the others i have are 12 weeks old

She should be on layer feed or at least have access to oyster shell. It will help her to form the shell. Good Luck

well it seems as tho it was just the move because she laid an egg today & it was a beautiful small white egg / a hard shell. being her 2nd day & 2 eggs im guessing she has settled in great. she used the box 2 day that is just a cat litter box / a hood , figured it would be very easy to clean & sanitize being all plastic. she acts like she has been her all her life lol

u should try oyster shells now that shes laying
