I am a first time chicken owner so I ordered some chicks from ideal poultry, and here are some pictures! I love them!!!

They r so cute. I can't wait i'm ordering in Feb. I had some baby silkies buff & blues, but I sold them because I wanted to get egg layers & more Cochins I have 3 cochin hens 2 blues, 1 splash, & 1 red silkie roo. ENJOY!!!

The silkies are cute, my husband is in love with the RIR's. I am totally excited to be getting eggs. i have to wait FOREVER!!! So how do i get my chicks to start liking to be held? I have found a couple of them like it when i turn them over and rub their bellies, they go to sleep!!! Crazy birds. This is reallly my first experience around chickens, and they really are not the smartest animal, but they are so cute!
