My new chicks head is cocked to the side?? ~PICS page 2~

He is a mix of Buff Orp. and Bantam Brahma... it may actually be Silkie though. But it's more likely that it's Bantam Brahma. My Buff Orp. usually chases all the Silkies away and doesn't seem to like them too much.

I hope someone helps you out. I have a chick a day old that is doing the same thing. I have heard this can happen if they are too cold too, but the temps are right. My chick is a bantam rosecomb.

Ok mom just looked in our incubator and we had a chick hatch yesterday morning its head was doing kind of the same thing I think it was in the shell to long its head is fine tonight.

How long did it last. 24 hours (about)??? Mine seems to be getting worse.. is that how yours was?

That stinks. I hope it makes it. Mine seems to be getting better. I gave her some Gro-Gel I got for if I have stressed chicks. I hope mine gets better too. I wish I knew what was wrong.

Yes it did it was sideways at first then it kept putting it all the way under its body and falling down sideways. It is moving around fine. We did give it vitamins thanks to another member who said it was a good idea. I hope yours gets better.
Oh yes it was hatched yesterday morning around 6am and was still acting strange when I left for school this morning but it is fine tonight holding head up and looking around.

That gives me alittle more hope. Thanks!
What kind of vitamins? Did you hold it alot, or keep it in the brooder?
