My new chicks!

Here are 6 of my 7 welsummer pullets from Ideal, 8 bb orps hatched from tazcat70, one of the blue marans x orp from tazcat70, and also a little silkie that I hatched from my silkies (if you look really hard you can see him/her at the top between the two black chicks. That's my borrowed hen on the left. She did NOT like that I was taking pics and ran me out as soon as I snapped this.

This is another blue marans x orp chick from tazcat70. This one had very long thin legs when he/she hatched. This one is in with my white hen who also has 6 white leghorn "packing peanuts" with her.

Keep your fingers crossed that we get all our coops finished this weekend so that all chickens have bigger facilities

! It just won't stop raining enough here and when it does, we've got baseball games to coach & go to

Good luck with the coop. We gave up waiting for the rain to stop when we were building ours and just worked in the rain as long as the rain was light, and after dark with a big light. The chicks are really cute.
