My new coop...4ft x 8ft with 9ft x 8ft run attached..

Are you going to put some roosts in the coop? I have my roosts arranged like # about a foot from the outside walls. It's about 20' of roost.

Yes I'm building some roosts. Havent decided how yet but I'm leaning towards some removable A frame roosts so I can pull out and clean easy.

Started shingles today on hottest day..so gonna wait until this evening. Had to install felt paper the other day because there was a chance of rain (it drizzled)



Oh and managed to get few pieces of trim installed including roof and back window. Havent built any shutters or doors yet but it's going to be in 90s this weekend so leaving openisnt a problem.

Chickens have chosen to sleep on a hanging porch we put inside run for now.

I went with a corrugated metal roof to keep the weight down, but mine is portable. Yours looks like it will match the house better. It’s looking nice.

Well I havent done much more due to end of school year obligations and the heat but hopefully tonight I get out and finish up the shingles. Its roughly 99 here rt npw and my pool is down for another week or so, so I'm not going outside lol.

And yes mine is not portable at all. The Sierra gray shingles do help keep the inside little cooler then outside which I do like.
