How beautiful! You are doing such an excellent job, I can't wait to see the finished product. Make sure you post updates!

can we see some interior photos? luuuuuuuuuuv the exterior!

Looks fabulous! Let's see the inside and the pop doors you nailed shut-- it sounds like you'd still be able to use them anyway? I love the siding, it really makes the whole thing charming.

Well, I didn't get photos done today, I'll try tomorrow, both inside and out. I thought I was going to have to redo the roosts in the small pens. I made them 4' high with out a ladder, so thought I was going to have to change them as I wasn't sure that the chickens would be able to get up on them, but when I went out this morning the roosts were full of chickens

, so I'm going to leave them as they are for now. I got my light timers set. I love the 15min lowlight shut off to give everyone time to get back on the roosts after I feed, water and pick up eggs after dark. I also love my rear roll out nests, the girls started useing them right away. I did set a light on a timer to come on at 5am, I may move that to 4am, I'll see how egg production does in the next few weeks.
Thanks for all the nice comments on my coop, it was alot of work, but fun, and I just love the natural rustic look.
I will try to get more photos up tomorrow.

I had left over boards, so I put a board about 12" high on the bottom, then used hdware cloth above that in case I have chicks to put in the pens, and I had 4' chain link fencing that I put above the hdware cloth, so the pens are about 7' tall. I had 3' wide, 6'tall kennel doors so I used them for the gates. I made the nest boxes and roosts. I will be taking down my old pens, and putting fencing arround the covered area so the layers can go outside over the winter if they want. I will wait to get the fencing up for the 2 other pens till spring.
