View attachment 1942770 little Abby has laid her first egg two days ago. Today, we found her in her new milk crate nesting box laying an egg! I went in to get my camera and when I came back out, Abby’s buddy (they are very close) was standing guard over her! It was the funniest thing!!! Her buddy, Daisy hasn’t started laying yet, but I’m sure she’s right behind Abby!

Daisy also lays now. Tiny little white eggs. She’s now our best layer.

Nice having a chicken go and comfort her - know how upset I would be if I laid an egg.
