My New Duckling Walking Funny

I got 20 Cayuga duck eggs about a mouth ago to hatch out for an FFA project. They were supposed to hatch March 10 and none of them did. After candling them I found that there was only one more alive and it had already broken into the air sac. So I helped it and happy to say that the little guy is doing fine. But I'm really concerned as he won't stand up normally and moves funny. His legs are staying weirdly positioned as you can see in the pictures. How can I help him??

If you weren't offline, you could post at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures ", thread. in fullest detail and photos. You could also post on the "Duck thread,"

If you could find Miss Lydia (username) she is fantastic with ducks, you could send her a BM. None of this is possible when you go offline. We have no way to contact you and vice versa. Ducks can have niacin deficiencies.

He may just be unbalanced from difficult hatch.

I don't know much about ducks, but try looking up Splay Leg or Straddle Leg. He might have that. Youtube has some helpful videos. Don't worry, in most cases they do fine. I hope that he gets better! Good luck and keep us updated!
