my new ducklings* picture heavy *

No, definately not Trout - a Trout duckling looks like a Mallard duckling, with eye-stripes and dorsal spots, like these Trout Runners (they're normal Trout, Blue Trout, and Apricot Trout):

Lots of Black, Chocolate, and even Dusky ducklings have a slight, soft, yellow "bib" as ducklings, but the adult feathers are the same color as the rest of the body.

They DO all look like Khaki Campbells - but, lots of ducklings look alike when they're still fluffy. Maybe you could post a picture of them standing tall like Runners to clear up any doubts, animalloverabh?

Ahhhh this has helped me lots, I have 2 trout ducks, one is blue trout, and one is a standard trout.... but then someone mesaged me and said neither are trout
and trout do not look anything like the 2 of my runners???

I was told this was a blue fawn!!! which I see very unlikely????

I have not worked how to do that yet lol

Yeah its a runner, just the way its stood due to it eating leaves I had threw in for it, the pic above is of them on a mad dash around pen?

They all came from the same lady who sells, eggs, ducklings and ducks

teresa-78 - your ducks are all Runners. Clearly they have the leg stance due to the different positioning of the legs that Runners do. As for the colouring - the top one looks to be mallard coloured as is it too dark to be a trout female. The one in the second photo looks similar in colour to one I raised last year. Since they are very young- and may change colour with molting- it may be best to see how it looks in a few months - as it may be completely different again - mine change from having a lot of blue to being more fawn as it matured.

to post a new topic, you go onto the duck side of backyardchicken then if you look in the top right cornr, you will see something that says "post new topic " click on that and then post what you wanted to post. hope this helps:)
sorry i cant really help much on your other question though, as i am new to runners
