My new ducklings!

This is Sweet Pea! She is the new call duckling that none of the other ducks want to except! She has become our little shadow. She hangs out with me and my daycare children all day:) what a little sweet duckling she is huh? I have never owned a duck that is so friendly. I am right in love with her!! (or him) not sure yet. I was hoping that because she is so friendly maybe she will help the other 2 calls and welsh harlequin realize that we are not so scary. They really want nothing to do with us yet. They run when we get close. I will post a couple of updated pics. of them as well! They are not very clear though.

The bottom picture! Is she called a blue bibbed call?
The middle picture is the 2 calls together and the 1 on the left is she called a gray?
The top picture shows the 2 calls and the welsh but their not the best quality because I took them on my cell! I will try to get better pictures soon:)

There awfully cute! but i tend to agree those bills are quite long. Here i'll show you my oldest my pair. Bonnie is in the background she's a blue fawn, in the front is Clyde and a grey(so mallard, which is just coming out) There just turning 3mths.

These are my other two.. one is a grey the other is looking like an Appleyyard

The smaller one is 5wks the other say about 7wks-ish(that is a aprox)

Clint,
I am just going by what the lady told me when I purchased them. I don't know exactly what they are, but I love them just the same:) They are almost 7 weeks old and they are small! They look bigger in the pictures then what they are. Maybe a call mix? I know they are def. smaller than my rouen ducks. What do you think they are?? How about little sweet pea? is her beak to long to be a call too?

Would you call them Bantams possibly? I am trying to show their size(witch is pretty small). I saw all of her ducks when I bought these guys and it was a pen of calls and maybe bantams mixed in the group. so, must be these guys got mixed! I always thought their beaks were way to big and that's why I started the post to begin with. so, let me know what you think.

So, I got these 2 ducklings on this past Saturday from a local breeder...and when I made the phone call to ask about her ducklings, I was told that she had Pekings and Call Ducklings for sale! I was really interested in seeing the call ducks! I went to her house and I saw all of her adult Calls and they were beautiful! Anyways, I wanted to purchase 4-5 of the call ducklings @ 5.00 a piece. So, she brings out the box and then when I am looking she says "hmmm..these look like the Muscovy ducklings" and because of the fact that I personally do not care for the Muscovy Ducks, I only purchased 2! I was just wondering if any of you could take a look and tell me what you think? I really hope they are Calls! Thanks, April

The one with the eye stripe looks just like my Gray Call Ducklings, here they are at 3 weeks just beginning to get some feathers to their chests

They really are lovely! regardless of the exact breed, i would lend towards a bantam mix calls are small... when bred right, to give an idea i can still hold my oldest pair in one hand singularly, for reference i wear about a size 7 glove so i have small hands. My pair were in a 40Gal trough in that pic.

Perhaps i'll try and get the pair up against a pop bottle today, something for reference.
