Oh yes...Wags her tail in perfect concert with her head bobs and trills. She has come thru the garden now to actually sit on the deck right by the back door. If you go by and dont pat her, you get squealed at! She perks up her head feathers and tells you off! If I sit down in my chair on the deck, she settles down next to my foot like a dog! Even my partner has taken to stopping and patting her on the way past, I hear him saying "Whos a pretty duck? Oh yes you are a pretty girl arent you?" She loves having her chest stroked, now that she knows Im not fazed by her nipping shes starting to really bite. She even likes to nip at my face...Im very wary of this though because I once had my sweet Talli latch onto my lip and try to shake it off!
In the bad heat we are having I give clean water 3 or 4 times to help them cool down thru the day. She runs over to the hose flapping and stands under it like a shower, nipping at the fresh water. I keep saying to her...What a lucky duck, and what a lucky human, to find each other in that crazy place, on the only day in the whole year I could go!
