Seeing that you can't grow grass one of the things you may want to do is if you're near a Walmart, go to their fruit and veggie section and grab a 3 lb bag of fresh chopped kale. We're in TN and our critters eat our grass down so we purchase the 3 lb bags of kale and feed it to our ducks and geese. A 3 lb bag is $3.86. It should last several days for you with those two. They may reject it at first but keep trying. Its really good for them.
