My new lady

This is my newest hen. Her name is fried. As in fried chicken. I did NOT name her and she will be renamed accordingly because I saved her from certain death. She had 3 other hen siblings in my buddies yard. Something got the siblings so I adopted this one. Think she may be barred rock or something maybe? Not 100% on that. She was born right before Easter.

She looks like an english silver cuckoo marans. I had one once that looked very similar. Pretty bird!
