My "new" project

A friend has been calving all summer. He moved his cows out to pasture and a few days later found this little girl without her mom. He didnt find any cows bawling for her baby, so he figured she must have been a twin. He didnt want the responsibility of bottle feeding and was venting in the elevator about her. My step-dad told him to call me. This is Pepper....

Oh how cute! I miss the cows. My grandpa used to be a dairy farmer (in North Dakota

) and I grew up with them but have not been around them for years.

She's adorable! After 6 or 7 weeks of bottle feeding I managed to get my cow to start feeding my bottle calf. She doesn't accept her as her own, but will feed her as long as she's (the cow not the calf) tied. Saves me the work and I still get to play w/ the calf! Your's is adorable!
