Go prepared: use little basket or box with a warm (not hot!) water bottle and fuzzy piece of fabric so the abducted chick will feel cozy and not alarm the mother hen. Bring a dark towel to cover the box.Would that really be ok? I'll try tonight then as in broad daylight the chick will run away
