My new puppy! Changing colors now LOL - new pix

She is a fat little midget. I think she is going to be a miniature dog. I think she weighs about 35lbs on a good day and is 5-6 months old now. Sigh. I like giant dogs and always end up with the midgets.

She's gorgeous. I love watching this thread because my dog is growing just a bit faster than yours. Mine's 5 months and her shoulders are at the knee Her head is at the thigh. how high is hers?

A blurry picture with her and all 3 of the others. Too many dogs to stay in one place for a picture!

She is doing okay. Still has accidents in the house though.......not all the time but too often. She is good with the chickens but likes to steal eggs....I can't let her out until I have collected all the eggs for the day. She will still run through or toward the chickens to make them squawk and run, but doesn't chase them or try to go after them. Just "plays" that way. She gets to be in the yard with Frankie whiel I am outside, and I can work for hours without worrying about them bothering the chickens. I have multiple "young" chickens, including 2 x 6 week old bantams out loose in the yard, and she is fine with them.

Wish she wasn't a midget! I think she will top out at about 40lbs. Sigh.

Ms Molly and Mr Frankie made a great escape last night. My gate bounces sometimes and doesn't latch.....apparently I didn't notice it when I went out back....I had had the dogs out back while I built things in the carport. Anywho, about 11pm I went out back, the gate didn't latch behind me.....when I went to go back in 15 minutes later, the gate was wide open and there were no dogs to be seen. No barking in the distance...no tag jingles. NOTHING. It was like they vanished into the distance.

I walked around calling them, nothing. Rechecked the backyard. Nothing. Walked up and down the street. Nothing. Got in the truck and drove alllll over.Nothing.

Finally about a half hour later, I saw Frankie across the street way back near the neighbor's barn. Called them (they sort of ignored me) and was able to catch them a bit down the street.

Little devils.

They were worn out from their little trip out to the real world. In molly's defense, she was the first one to run to me when they were loose. Little monster.

She ripped into one of the chicken tractors today. Guess she really wanted that leftover tostada I had thrown in there.

Dogs.

Its been a while since I posted pix. Have had a lot of trouble house breaking the little monster. And my old senile dogs have started having accidents.....so everyone stays in crates now. Everyone! At least then when they have an accident its not a big deal to clean up.

They look so pathetic though.

they shouldn't complain since they stay inside in their crates in a very air conditioned house (65 degrees) during these horribly hot days instead of being outside COOKING. They come out of their crates once I am home.
