I did fourteen piercings today, the most ever!! Hardly had time to eat., stayed over 2 hours to get them done. My Tue, Wed, Thur is usually 12-5. and 12-8 on Fri and Saturday. Saturday I did 2, my daughter took in record amt. tattooing since opening a year and a half ago. Today (a Tuesday??!!) she did a few tattoos, and I stayed busy from 12 to 7. Go figure, Income tax refunds and student loans coming in, but what a weird day.

DD19 came home with a barbell through the top of her ear a couple of weeks ago. **Involuntary shudder** Not my favorite thing that she's ever done, but it's her ear, and she paid for it. At least she's old enough to take care of her own piercings! And it wasn't her tongue.

At SOME point, I WILL get a tatoo of one of my Langshans on my body. It will be about 1" x 1" and somewhere that can easily be covered.

RoPo...from experience, if you want any detail, you'll need to go a little bigger.

Not much though probably. ....at least that is what I was told by my tattoo artist (I have absolutely NO artistic ability!). I wanted a more realistic (detailed) tattoo of a burrowing owl (on a rock with buttercups around it). I was hoping 3" x 3" or so, but to get the detail I wanted, it is now a 6" x 6" or 7" x 7". The detail was worth it though!

As for piercings...I cringed and whined with the three in each ear that I have now! (and they are in the normal earring place...no cartilage!). I couldn't imagine a bar bell through the top!!!

Oh...RoPo...mine is on my shoulder blade, so unless I am in a tank top, no one sees it. And, I don't wear tank tops (or any sleeveless shirts for that matter) to work, so it is always covered without even trying.

So...you stabbed a lot of people today...and they paid you for the injuries with money they loaned to the government at no interest and they just now got back after having to wait for that deadbeat for a WHOLE YEAR. How cool/weird is that?!?! Congratulations!

Thats awesome!!!! I kinda never got into the peircing to hard(belly button, nose and ears done) But dang i LOVE tattoo's. I do them as well~
