My new roo. So excited as he is just beautiful! (My very first roo!)

I was told Ameraucana with EE colouring... sound about right?

At any rate, I don't really care what he is, but he is just lovely.

(He is seen here in his 'play pen' for now, starting the integration process. The play pen is in a secure barn (9ft X 18ft coop).

Beautiful rooster! He looks like he is an Easter Egger (Ameraucanas only come in Black, Blue, Blue Wheaten, Brown Red, Buff, Silver, and Wheaten & White) I raise EE and your rooster looks much like mine:

He found his lungs today when he figured out it was day time. Our barn is so very dark, and with the snow today, I have the doors closed. As soon as the doors opened and the lights came on, he started crowing as I started to give him he morning feed and fresh water. The dog looked at me as to say... um, mum, that chicken is making a strange sound. lol The hens don't seem to fussed by him as they were yesterday, so I am taking that as a good sign. I also noticed that if there is a ruffle of feathers and a squawk out of the ladies, he shows immediate interest at what is going on, vocally and visually.
