My new Rouens

They're beautiful. I just got my first rouen. It's also 8 weeks old, but has no feathers yet...it looks way younger than yours.

Can you tell me which one in the picture is the boy and which one's the girl? I don't know if mine is male or female, and since I only have one I can't compare them to try and figure out the sex.

Yours could be undernourished, or simply not 8 weeks old, as it should be fully feathered by now. If it quacks loud, its a girl....if it has more of a raspy sound its a boy

I love when they walk how they sway side to side, its so funny! And you can tell male and female. A male is quiet and a female is very loud. A male will aslo get a drake feather on his tail feathers which is a feather that curls upward. You may not see the feather yet but once all of there feathers are in youll be able to see it

I have two rouen drakes which i had since eggs. THERE THE MOST AWESOME DUCKS EVER!!! many may have seen my videos of them out and about and on the bus and trains. if not id like to take a few minitues of your time to enlighten you all
