You should read some more. They are endangered and inbred, they are becoming infertile my sister says sitting next to me.

Great job on the website. Endangered species are important issues. I really like Cheetahs, but the real problem with Cheetahs are a bit more than I think mankind can handle atm. They have almost no genetic diversity, meaning all the last living cheetahs are so closely related that recessive traits (some genetic disorders etc) that were once really rare have become the normal. What they really need is some fresh blood line infusions - cheetahs not related being discovered! These bottlenecks in evolution ( cheetahs specialized so much that they had no diversity to fall back on physically when climate change and habitat was reduced) really hurt them.

If you want to help them, right now the absolute best way is to become a geneticist and figure out how to infuse more diversity in limited bloodlines!
