I thought I would throw these pics ou there for those that want to build a little bit bigger tractor type coop. This coop is built on 4x4 timbers that are used for skids, altho I might add wheels later on.
Outside nest box and provisions for feeder and water so you dont have to go inside the coop to retrieve or to remove when moveing the coop.
This next pic shows the cable I attached to make moving it pretty easy with a larger type riding mower. You can also see the ladder that provides access to the top portion of the coop.
A inside shot of the nestboxes, you can also see the roosting perch in the foreground.
And the girls inside enjoying the shade, also notice the access door in the center. I you look at the very bottom of the coop , you might be able to make out the cable and where it is attached to the coop with eyebolts. Attaching the cable near the back of the coop takes the stress off the timber as the coop is being pulled.
