My newly hatched Bourbon Red Poults

I bought the eggs from Skaffhouse on Ebay...because they have a limited guarantee..if the eggs do not develop they will replace them for shipping cost....Their birds are gorgeous so I went for it and got 3 to hatch on the 27th day...They hatched yesterday and are eating and drinking.....I put 2 small watermelon pieces in there and sprinkled their food on it and they go pick it off and gobble it down.....I love them already...wish I had a whole flock...I guess that will come in time though....they are so darn cute!......

I too bought RBs from Skaff, and today is day #16 in the incubator. I ordered a doz, and he sent me 14. From what I could tell from pictures of his birds they are a nice looking dark/rich bourboun color. I'm looking forward to the hatch. Thanks for posting.

he sent me 13 eggs....I had quitters in different stages of development..kept the cabinet incubator on 99 with 47% humidity.....the three hatched on the 27th day....~Charm1704
