Some of my Brabanter hens are real nice. The roo and 2 of the hens I am not all that happy with. The roo might improve one of these days though. He is only 6 months old.

I will have to get some updated pictures of Spike, the roo, tomorrow.

Hi!
That Norwegian Rooster is HANDSOME ---but the Brabanter really got my attention! I have 2 Polish hens but I had never even heard of Brabanter before! Are they larger than Polish? I could imagine that they could do well with Polishes? I would LOVE to have one in the future

I like the Jaerhon roo. He has very long, spiky points on his single comb. I also like the legginess of him; it's sort of a Leghorn or game look but with "more" to his upper body and face. Do the Jaerhons all look like that, or is there variety to their breed?

I am going to sell hatching eggs in the spring. These birds are only 6 months old right now and are not laying yet.

I am also thinking about selling off the Brabanters so I don't know if I will have any of them in the spring or not. If I do, I will be selling eggs out of them too.

The Jaerhon is the only chicken developed in Norway and I believe this is the only color it comes in.
