My old chickens that will Never be forgotten.

This fist pic is my old Dark Cornish Butterscotch. She was an amazing chicken, broody, crabby, and bossy. But i loved her. She died of..what we think was Mareks disease. 2008-2009

This next pic is of my old Buff Orpington named Princess peach. She was the sweetest chicken i have ever seen. she was the burst of color in our flock. She died way too young from a prolapsed ovaduct. 2008-2009

This is Lacy she was a silver laced wynadotte she spent 1 year of her life with us, she was the lowest on the pecking order, she was sweet, shy, and a loner. she was killed by a hawk. 2008-2009

This is angel. my old columbian Brahma. She was quiet, and shy. She was killed by a raccoon while she was dust bathing. 2008-2009

They all died with in the same months from September of 2008 to Febuary of 2009.

I'm really trying to hold back the tears because they were 4 of my orginal eight chickens.

aww i'm sorry to here about you loss.

We might be losing are Rhode Island red.

She's one of the three orginals left.

They all look like they were so sweet! I am so sorry! One can tell how much you cared for your girls...and I am sure they knew it! Hugs for your loss!
 
Thanks everyone. It's very hard losing chickens you've trained, cared for, and shown for a long time.
