My order was messed up, what color?

I ordered some chicks from MPC and they arrived 2 weeks ago. I ordered 3 polish. One Black, white crested and 2 blue, white crested. So one arrived dead and it was very clearly one of my blue ones. Now one of my ones I have left is definitely not black, but it doesn't look blue. I called MPC and they said it is possible that I was shipped a wrong color. The first 2 pics are of one in question, there is a very light hint of color possibly on the back but wings are coming in pure yellow, so I was wondering if maybe it was a Buff Laced. They sell buff laced, golden laced, silver laced, black and blue. The third pic I'm assuming is my Black-white crested. Thanks for your help!

If I recall correctly, my buff laced Polish were pretty light. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the silver laced would be feathering in some black? It's been awhile though,

What color is coming in on it? I can't see any buff coloration in the picture. Rather, I see a very pale, pale grey. It's very probable that the chick is a splash which would be common in blue/black/splash breeding pens. Hatcheries will typically grab whatever is coming out of the incubator to put in your shipping box and won't separate the blues from the splashes.

The color coming in is a very light gray, but yeah it is very light, you can't make it out on the picture. newchcknmama, that does look like mine! So the third pic, does everyone agree that is going to be black? Or is that a splash? Thank you all for your input!

I really did want blues but a buff would be pretty too!

It sounds like a splash to me not a buff. And, yes, the last one is a white crested black.
