Hello BYC!

I am a huge fan of ducks and their goofy, noisy, messy antics. My very own ducklings arrive next week and I'm very excited to share their life with you all.

This is not my first time raising ducklings; I live on a spacious country property with my other half and family. I work as a veterinary assistant and have always had a love for animals of every kind. I've had the joy of researching ducks, caring for, and eventually teaching them how to care for their own flock over the last few years. There has been many ups and downs for the family as they learned, sometimes the hard way, how serious predators and nutrition is for a duck, but I am very glad that I have managed to do my job and they now have four beautiful adult girls (two cayuga and two rouen)!

I have decided to get my own ducklings which will grow, live, and co-mingle with theirs for the time being. My three girls will be a buff, blue Swedish, and chocolate ancona. I still have plenty of things to learn about ducks and hope we can all grow to love my little flock together!
