My Peachicks Of 2013 **Will Have Lots Of Pics**

Very disapointted, candled the four eggs due for lockdown (day 25). Two are half clear, look like quitters. Other two looked good but couldn't see and movement. Just hoping to get at least one to hatch!!

Ok guys this is my first peachick hatch, how long normally between pip and zip, hatch??? Just got home and no change in the pip from this morning. I know it wasn't there when I check at midnight last night.

My chicken and duck eggs almost always hatch out in 24 hours from pip, so try to resist the urge to help, IMHO. Some like to rest for many hours before zipping.

It's driving me crazy!! The pip whole is slightly enlarged and that didn't happen until the last hour! If it's not out by in the morning I think I'll try and help it. My temp is steady at 100.0 humidity at 70%. Still nothing out of the other egg that I thought was possibly fully developed.
Tomorrow will be a busy day, should have between 40-50 jersey giant and ameraucana chicks coming in the mail. Have the brooder heaters on and waiting as patiently possible.

Yes!!!! I finally have a live peachick hatched from my trio!!! He just broke open his shell. A pied with almost completely white wings. He is out of my pieds with a lot of java in them. I'm so happy I may not be able to sell this one. Still hopeful the other egg will be pipped tomorrow.
This is way more stressful than my chicken or quail Lol!!!
