my peahens are sick

OK well what if the bird has yellowish/white droppings, loose and watery, and is lethargic. I checked them right after she pooped this morning and I could not see any worms. She is a 3 year old peahen I purchased about 3 weeks ago.

Most worms are microscopic and it's not possible to see them with the naked eye. They can definitely still be there. The only worms you can see are tapes. I'd suggest running a fecal to the vet.

Yellow watery stool can indicate blackhead (histomoniasis). Treatment is metronidazole (flagyl). The color change in the stools can also be caused by taking other medications, such as wormers. Is there a clinic nearby where you could drop off a stool sample? It only costs a few bucks.

I dont know but I'm going to try and look one up right now, thanks for the info, when i got her she was perfectly fine then one day she lost all her energy and I thought she was getting better but shes struggling still.

There's one local vet that sees peafowl and the girl that answered the phone says she will have the vet call me back. After doing lots of research, I think she has blackhead with the yellowy stools. How much will a vet charge do u think to come out to my place for a peahen?
